平成24年10月8日より、ニューメキシコ州において「SIO 2012（9th International Conference of the Society for Integrative Oncology）」が開催されました。本学会において、テキサス大学MDアンダーソンがんセンターのJudith Smith先生、大阪大学教授の伊藤壽記先生の研究グループにより、それぞれAHCC、GCPに関連する研究発表が行われました。また、9日（火）には介入治療に関するシンポジウムにおいて伊藤壽記先生が座長を務められました。
